Tassels, Flowers and Red All Over-New York Fashion Week AW 2017/18

New York fashion week, the most eclectic of all fashion weeks.  This week was no different- from suits to athleisure to gowns and to jeans we saw it all.  It was an inspiring week filled with an amazing continuation of what we have been seeing in past seasons plus so much more.  What I felt we saw most was fringe and tassels all over the place!  Also red -lots of red and a continuation of the shades of pink that were so prominent in the summer.  There was a wide array of modest fashion as well with skirts that reached the models knees and high necklines.  We saw class and we saw grunge in the most New York way possible!  Leopard print of course isn’t going anywhere and loud floral prints are all the rage.  Plus mixed prints and fur can be spotted in almost every collection. I really wonder if the rest of this fashion season will continue with this theme.  Regardless I had a blast drawing fashion inspired by these shows.  Next stop London!
