Happy National Chocolate Chip Day!

What a fabulous day for all of us cookie lovers- national chocolate chip day! One of my all time favorite cookies is chocolate chip cookies and after testing out many recipes these are my favorite! They’re dairy-free but if you want to make them dairy just use butter.  What’s a girl to bake she she’s craving chocolate chip cookies? Here goes!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 1/4 Cups flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 Cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 Cup sugar
  • 1 Cup margarine  (Or butter)
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • As many chocolate chips as you see fit 😉

Instructions

Refrigerate the dough for a couple of hours for the best results!

Preheat oven to 350′ (170 c). combine flour, salt and baking soda in a bowl and set aside. combine margarine, sugars, and vanilla and beat until creamy. Add eggs. Add dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips. Form in to cookies on a cookie sheet- I use a ice cream scooper, it makes the cookies especially precise.  Bake 8-10 min

I bang the cookie tray on the counter when I take it out of the oven and that makes the cookies especially chewy.

Cookies are always a good idea 😉

til’ next time xoxo ~WAGTD
